VP Racing Fuels is seeking a full-time Tax Accounting Manager in the Accounting Department at our Corporate Headquarters location (San Antonio, Texas). The Tax Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the tax accounting function, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and optimizing tax planning strategies. This role involves reviewing financial data, preparing and filing tax returns, and reconciling balance sheet accounts related to fuel and sales taxes. The position requires collaboration with internal teams, including the Controller, to address tax issues, implement process improvements, and maintain organized tax records for audits and reviews.

Minimum Qualifications:
The ideal candidate must be extremely organized and able to manage the logistics of multiple duties with professionalism and strong communication skills. In addition, strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment is critical for success in the role, as are high levels of accuracy, timeliness and dependability. We are looking for someone who can establish and maintain effective working relationships within the organization, work effectively with all levels of employees and management, and assist in providing solutions to challenges that arise. If this describes you and you meet the following requirements, we would be happy to speak with you:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, along with at least three (3) years of professional experience in Finance/Accounting AND/OR any combination of education and experience that results in the applicable skills, knowledge, and abilities.
