From a single location with two employees in San Antonio, Texas, VP has grown to over 300 employees with five company-owned and operated race fuel distribution points in Texas, Indiana, Delaware, and Tennessee, a regional office in southern California, and an international office in Berlin. Each of these distribution points maintains an inventory of VP fuels available for immediate transport within a day’s drive to virtually any major racing event in North America. VP is now recognized by many as the world leader in race fuel technology, with a catalog of more than 80 fuel blends and a growing roster of VP-fueled champions across the entire spectrum of motorsports. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our sales team and ensuring the smooth operation of the sales department.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the sales team, including scheduling appointments, preparing reports, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Assist with the preparation of sales presentations and proposals.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
  • Maintain and update customer databases and sales records.
  • Assist with the organization of sales events and trade shows.
  • Provides additional general administrative support to the Company, including front desk receptionist duties.
  • Supports the Executive Assistant as needed.
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
  • Process Apparel orders.
  • Create new accounts in SalesForce & NetSuite.

Requirements:

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Work requires broad knowledge of business.
  • Must have knowledge of secretarial, office administrative procedures, and knowledge of use and operation of standard office equipment and a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database and accounting.
  • Some analytical ability is required in order to gather and summarize data for reports, find solutions to various administrative problems, and prioritize work.
  • Work requires continual attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Experience utilizing SalesForce CRM & NetSuite highly desired.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of experience in an administrative support role, preferably in a sales environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Education And Experience:

  • A High School Diploma or GED is required and 2 years of related experience.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None

Physical Demands:

  • Required to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, and move about the office/facility.
  • May be subject to sitting or standing for long periods of time to perform job scope.
