We are seeking a Facilities Management Consultant to join our diverse and talented team.
Position Overview
The Facilities Management Consultant will provide thought leadership in support of the planning, design, and execution phases of large-scale facility projects, innovations, and other program initiatives for our Federal Client. This role requires a thorough understanding of the organization’s strategy, vision, priorities and mission requirements, and the ability to articulate them to internal and external stakeholders. The Management Consultant will work closely with these audiences to uncover their current and emerging needs, analyze processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement innovative, effective solutions that meet those needs.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted advisor to Senior Leadership through continuous and effective collaboration.
- Apply Facilities industry knowledge and best practices to the execution and delivery of work products.
- Act as a liaison between various internal departments and external partners to ensure effective execution and ensure all deliverables are aligned with our Federal Client’s key priorities.
- Present well-founded recommendations and decisions, accompanied by thorough analysis, to our Federal Client and other relevant stakeholders while obtaining buy-in for delivery strategies and end state deliverables.
- Construct high-quality deliverables and briefings according for Senior Leadership according to their specifications.
- Demonstrate operational diligence to ensure priorities, issues, and risks are communicated clearly.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements then work with cross-functional teams to ensure their timely and successful implementation.
- Review and interpret Federal and DHS facilities policies and assist in implementing them at the CBP Component level.
- Monitor and report on the status of deliverables and provide regular updates to stakeholders and Senior Leadership.
- Develop and maintain robust Client engagement while uncovering their current and emerging needs.
- Continuously improve processes and tools by conducting organizational assessments, identify potential risks, and recommend improvement opportunities.
- Manage stakeholder relationships with clients, internal stakeholders, and external partners through the delivery of regular updates, reports, and feedback on the status and outcomes of projects and deliverables.
