The Senior HR Manager is a business partner to the President of Genesis Companies and is accountable for providing strategic input into all HR programs, plans and processes and for implementing and performing the various HR tasks needed by the organization.

The Senior HR Manager is a business partner to the President of Genesis Companies and is accountable for providing strategic input into all HR programs, plans and processes and for implementing and performing the various HR tasks needed by the organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop, oversee, provide, and perform all related HR functions: talent management, training and development. HR compliance and collaborate on workplace safety.
- Counsel leadership team on human resources issues, provide insight and options compliant with new and existing legislation and consistent with the firm’s philosophies, policies, and culture.
- Facilitate and manage HR related training, including employment law and company policy, such as proper documentation of employee issues, resolve workplace related issues.
- Investigate, document, and resolve employee relations issues and employee claims/complaints.
- Oversee workforce planning with Management, lead recruiting, manage onboarding and termination issues, including new employee orientations, employee terminations, and exit interviews, to determine reasons behind separation.
- Compile and maintain info to identify trends and patterns in resignations, thereby strengthening workforce and loyalty.
- Support employees in various HR-related areas such as LOA, FMLA and compensation.
- Partner with Operations management and Legal Counsel on labor relations issues, and familiar with managing employees covered by CBA
- Manage the development and management of talent programs, including performance management, development, training, and succession planning.
- Ensure all HR activities are consistent with organization's policies and standards.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state and federal employment law and regulations
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field; and at least 8 years of experience preferred, with track record of progressively increasing responsibilities; or equivalent level of experience and education.
- Hybrid position; successful candidate needs to be willing and capable of regular daily travel to our sites; this is not a fully remote position
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office 365
- Strong Excel and Word proficiency
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
- Excellent organizational skills; attention to detail
- Strong initiative and solid judgment abilities/skills
- Team player with the ability to establish collaborative working relationships
- Self-motivated and capable of working under tight deadlines
