Duties / Responsibilities
- Construct equipment, fabricated metal products, electrical devices, and other manufactured goods according to specifications.
- Read blueprints, schematics, or similar documentation, then build to those specifications.
- Utilize various machines and hand tools to accomplish assigned tasks.
- Maintain logs, records, and reports concerning production, machine maintenance, and product inconsistencies.
- Ensure equipment and conveyors are well-maintained and perform basic repairs when needed.
- Inventories tools, parts, or supplies; contact materials handler if supplies are needed.
- Periodically inspect products per company policy to ensure quality and uniform completion; resolve any identified problems and alert supervisor.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills / Abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software as necessary to complete logs or records.
- Able to read blueprints and schematics.
- Detail-oriented and consistent.
- Works well as a productive member of a team.
- Able to properly maintain and perform basic repairs on equipment.
- Able to follow instructions.
- Basis ability in mathematics, reading, or writing.
