Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Functional Family Therapist to join our team at VQ. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with at-risk youth and their families to provide high-quality, evidence-based therapeutic services.
About the Role
The successful candidate will possess strong clinical skills, cultural competence, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments, developing personalized treatment plans, and utilizing the Functional Family Therapy Model to motivate families to change in a positive way.
Key Responsibilities
- Assessment and Treatment Planning: Conduct pre-assessment evaluations, comprehensive assessments, and develop personalized treatment plans using the Functional Family Therapy Model.
- Service Delivery: Provide high-quality, evidence-based therapeutic services to at-risk youth and their families, focusing on improving family functioning and overall well-being.
- Clinical Supervision: Participate in weekly team treatment meetings, administrative supervision, and clinical supervision to ensure effective service delivery.
- Case Management: Document all services provided, including contacts with referring agencies, family and individual sessions, group sessions, and significant progress or problems.
Requirements
- Education and Experience: Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field, with a minimum of one year of experience as a Functional Family Therapist.
- Licensure and Certification: Licensure in one of the following is preferred: Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, etc.
- Skills and Qualifications: Excellent interpersonal communication skills, excellent writing skills, commitment to professional development, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and strong computer skills.
