Your Expertise In Action
- Equipment Mastery: Take ownership of setting up and optimizing all departmental equipment, ensuring peak performance.
- Precision Testing: Conduct critical rubber testing in our advanced Compound Lab, utilizing the MDR machine to guarantee material integrity.
- Material Management: Oversee the receipt, tracking, and rotation of rubber and ingredients, maintaining a meticulous inventory system.
- Compound Creation: Skillfully weigh and mix ingredients on the Lab mill, creating precise rubber compounds.
- Specialized Processes: Prepare glues and phenolic rope dips, and expertly operate milling and preform machinery.
- Versatile Operations: Utilize air knives, cutters, and silicon extruders, demonstrating your adaptability and technical prowess.
- Lean Innovation: Actively contribute to the development and implementation of Lean Manufacturing principles, driving continuous improvement.
- Documentation and Maintenance: Maintain accurate records and ensure a seamless workflow during shift transitions.
- Strong mathematical and computer proficiency.
- Exceptional mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and maintain self-discipline.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- A proactive mindset and a passion for process improvement.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to carry up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to push/pull up to 50 pounds (maneuvering materials).
- Be a key player in a critical manufacturing process.
- Utilize and expand your technical skills in a dynamic environment.
- $18.00 per hour.
- Availability on 2nd and 3rd shift.
- Contribute to continuous improvement through Lean Manufacturing practices.
- Union membership with the INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF MACHINISTS AND AEROSPACE WORKERS AFL-CIO District 8 AFFILIATED LODGE NO. 1613.
