Position Title: Plant Operator
Report To: Production Manager
Type: Full-Time – Hourly – Non-Exempt
JOB PURPOSE:
We are seeking an experienced Plant Operator that will be responsible for assisting with daily plant operations as assigned.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Make changes to the operating process necessary to maintain product quality
· Monitor the performance of plant equipment and process conditions, read flow meters and temperature and pressure gauges, and take routine readings on process variables
· Promptly respond to process alarms / constraints
· Prepare equipment for maintenance
· Support other Operational activities associated with site Turnarounds and Projects
· Willing to work other than scheduled times when needed to meet deadlines or ensure that daily work is completed
· Perform other duties as instructed by Supervisor
QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE:
· High School Diploma or GED preferred
· Strong sense of time organization and urgency
· Able to work independently and within a team
· Capable of performing a wide range of physical activities which include pulling, reaching, bending, climbing, kneeling, and must be able to push, pull, carry move and / or lift up to 50 lbs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
