Quality Control Technician

Position Title: QC Technician

Report To: Q/A & Prod. Dev. Mgr.

Type: Full-Time – Hourly – Non-Exempt

JOB PURPOSE:

We are seeking an experienced QC Technician that will be responsible for assisting in testing base product and finished product to make sure product specifications are being met. Assists with cleaning the lab area and equipment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Product sampling and basic analysis according to approved procedures.

· Monitoring lab equipment and supplies, reporting and documenting equipment operations, and basic troubleshooting of equipment

· Maintaining general cleanliness of the lab.

· Advising lab team members on issues of concern.

· General understanding of the field of science or engineering related to position.

· Ability to prepare accurate assays/samples or perform arithmetical computations and maintain detailed records.

QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE:

· High school diploma or equivalency preferred; in lieu of education, equivalent quality technician experience accepted.

· Possess a high level of attention-to-detail and maintain accuracy and safety focus in a fast-paced environment.

· Previous quality technician experience is a plus

· Be willing to work various hours and overtime as required.

· Maintain an exceptional level of attendance and punctuality.

· Must have the necessary skills to perform reading, writing and mathematics in English as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
