About the Position
VRC is seeking a Secure Document Shredding Technician to join our team. As a Secure Document Shredding Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the secure disposal of confidential materials.
Your primary responsibilities will include performing onsite/offsite document destruction of confidential information using mobile based shredding equipment, operating a company vehicle in a safe, professional manner, and transporting documents, equipment, hard drives, supplies, etc. to and from customer locations while complying with traffic regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Safety and Security: Perform mandated daily safety and maintenance checks on truck and shredder equipment, follow all safety requirements as outlined in company policies, and maintain a responsible approach to all security matters related to VRC operations.
- Customer Service: Develop and maintain a relationship with customers, complete all necessary paperwork accurately as required by company policy, and maintain cleanliness of truck interior and exterior.
- Operational Efficiency: Consistently report to work on time, prepared to perform duties of the position, meet department productivity and quality standards, and move records from one location to another utilizing all company security measures.
