Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Porter/Maintenance professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of our facilities while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong mechanical background and the ability to perform various maintenance tasks effectively.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the facility, ensuring all areas are presentable for residents and visitors.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including electrical repairs, plumbing, and HVAC system checks.
- Assist in the fabrication of necessary components for maintenance projects as needed.
- Conduct residential painting and touch-up work to enhance the appearance of facilities.
- Supervise and coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs or projects.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents, providing exceptional customer service.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations while performing all duties.
Skills
- Proficient in English with strong communication skills to interact effectively with residents and team members.
- Solid understanding of facilities maintenance practices, including electrical systems and mechanical knowledge.
- Experience with logic controllers is a plus for troubleshooting equipment issues.
- Ability to fabricate components as needed for various maintenance tasks.
- Previous experience in residential painting is preferred.
- Strong customer service orientation with a focus on resident satisfaction.
- Supervisory skills to manage contractors or team members during maintenance projects.
