Analytical Chemist / QC Chemist
Greater Charlotte, NC
Hiring at multiple levels for chemists with experience in method development and quality control. Please do not hesitate to apply if you are a chemist with some but not all of the job requirements.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop analytical methods for nutraceuticals and pharmaceuticals in complex matrices
- Run and troubleshoot instrumentation including HPLC, GC, LC-MS, GC-MS, ICP-MS, UV-Vis, and FTIR
- Prepare samples using techniques such as SPE, LLE, and dissolution and utilize foundational laboratory and wet chemistry techniques
- Support quality control while adhering to cGMP, FDA, ICH, and ISO requirements
Candidate Qualifications
- Minimum of BS degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field
- > 2 – 10 years of analytical experience in a GMP/GLP facility
- Hands-on experience with HPLC and GC; mass spectrometry experience ideal but not required!
- Experience with Waters Empower software
- US citizenship or Green Card required
Salary:
- $60-100K annual base salary commensurate with experience
