Description : Position Summary
Are you an experienced survey technician looking for an opportunity to further your career? VS Engineering is your next adventure! We are looking for candidates to assist with construction surveying, DOT and LPA topo survey projects. Our Evansville Office is the hub for VS Engineering projects in Southern / Southeastern Indiana and one of our most quickly growing teams. Our local staff includes a wide variety of experience levels with expertise in city, county, and DOT roadway and streetscapes and public work projects for local cities, counties, and the State.
A Typical Day May Include
- Develop complete construction documents and specifications
- Participate and assist the team with creative planning, design and construction inspection of various civil engineering projects
- Lead the preparation of planning documents, engineering plans, details, reports, specifications and construction cost estimates
- Coordinate with clients, regulators and permitting agencies
- Contract administration and bidding support
- Compete field assignments as needed for data collection and field checks
