Job Overview:
SciMax Global is seeking an experienced Associate Director/Director of Business Development to drive the growth of its SaaS solutions for Medical Affairs programs, including Medical Information/Communication, Collaboration Portals, Publication Planning, IIT/IST Study Management, Grants Management, and Expanded Access Management.
This is a strategic sales and business development role that requires a proactive "hunter" mindset to identify and secure new business opportunities while managing and expanding key client relationships across North America & Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect & Build New Accounts: Identify and engage potential business opportunities to drive customer acquisition.
- Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain senior-level client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
- Strategic Business Development:
- Establish and execute a comprehensive business development plan for the North American & European markets.
- Identify customer needs, propose tailored SaaS solutions, and ensure successful execution.
- Sales & CRM Management:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.
- Prepare and submit sales activity reports to Sales Management.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Serve as a liaison between customers and technical/operational teams to ensure smooth execution of solutions.
- Market & Industry Expertise:
- Stay updated on industry trends and market developments in Medical Affairs.
- Leverage competitive insights to position SciMax Global s SaaS solutions effectively.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 3 to 8 years of experience in business development, account management, or engagement management with a relationship-based sales approach.
- Strong understanding of Medical Affairs industry trends and the ability to articulate how they impact business.
- Proven experience selling SaaS solutions for Medical Information, Publication Planning, or related domains.
- Prior experience with medical information and publication planning software solutions, such as:
- Anju, iEnvision, LifeSphere, Salesforce-based custom solutions, etc.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel up to 50% to engage with clients and attend industry events.
