VSC Fire & Security in Cabot, Arkansas is seeking candidates for the position of Field Superintendent – Low Voltage.

What you need:
- Three to five years of experience installing commercial construction low voltage systems.
- State or local licensure where required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of NFPA, regulatory standards, and state/local codes.
- Competence in reading and interpreting electrical plans, drawings, schematics, and specifications.
- Exhibit leadership skills with hiring, training, disciplining, and terminating employees.
- Coordinate work of various departments and multiple projects to meet deadlines, customer service, and employee needs.
- Monitor and enforce safety policies and procedures.
- Skilled analysis of personnel expenses and cost to maintain profitability.
- Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills.
- Ability to pass various background checks when required.
- Reliable transportation, valid State Driver's License with acceptable driving record for use of company vehicle.
- May require participation in on-call rotation.
- Desirable (but not required!):
- NICET Level II.
- Previous project management experience.
- Working knowledge of fire alarm, CCTV, access control, and structured cabling systems.
What you will do:
- Responsible for training, planning, scheduling, supervising, counseling, and directing all field personnel in performance of all low voltage systems and services.
- Maintain proper Risk Management and Safety procedures on all job sites per VSC policies.
- Performs installation tasks, advanced diagnostic, trouble shooting, and repair when needed.
- Evaluate employees and provides the necessary guidance regarding job performance.
- Approve documentation for payroll, and report work-related incidents, or injuries.
This role is designated as safety-sensitive due to responsibilities that could entail the use of motor vehicles, mobile equipment, working at heights, climbing ladders, and utilizing lift equipment.
