WHO YOU ARE
A self-starter with a passion for storytelling and multimedia content creation. You’re tech-savvy, with familiarity in podcast platforms, video channels, and social media optimization.
You’re excited about the opportunity to work directly with our founder, Vijay, to expand his personal brand and collaborate on content strategy, execution, and distribution—making sure Vijay’s voice cuts through the noise.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Content Production & Strategy:
- Record, edit, and deliver 30 short-form videos weekly (original, repurposed, and variations) from Vijay’s speaking engagements and podcast recordings.
- Edit podcast episodes, produce trailers, and optimize content for retention and shareability.
- Extract compelling short-form snippets and make sure that videos resonate across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn.
- Review video/audio drafts and edit for quality, clarity, and adherence to Vijay’s voice.
- Build and maintain a posting schedule for podcast-related content across social platforms.
- Optimize clips for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube Shorts to drive audience engagement, promote episodes, and expand reach.
Project Management:
- Coordinate all phases of podcast production, ensuring timelines, deadlines, and deliverables are met efficiently.
- Research and identify relevant, engaging guests; handle booking, scheduling, and pre-interview preparation.
Performance Monitoring:
- Create high-quality trailers and thumbnails to boost viewer retention and platform discovery.
- Analyze audience engagement (views, likes, shares, CTR) to identify high-performing content.
- Regularly review performance analytics to refine content hooks, styles, and formats.
- Propose creative experiments to continually improve performance.
WHAT YOU BRING
- 5 years of experience in podcast/video production for your own brand or someone else
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
- Experience curating and managing guest bookings.
- Detail-oriented with a creative eye for storytelling and content quality.
- Ability to work independently, communicate clearly, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with podcast platforms (e.g., Anchor, Spotify, Apple Podcasts) and video channels (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram).
- Experience with video/audio editing tools (Riverside, Adobe Premiere, CapCut, Audition, DescriptAI, etc.)
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, content calendars, SEO, and podcast discoverability strategies.
- Comfortable with professional video gear (e.g., Sony FX30, DJI Osmo Pocket).
