Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial problem-solver to join our team as a Personal Assistant. The ideal candidate will be a self-directed individual with exceptional multitasking skills, able to think critically and pivot when needed.
This is a part-time position that requires the ability to work 18-20 hours per week. We expect you to be in person at our office in Novato, CA, 3 days a week. Spanish language proficiency is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities
- Personal and medical calendar management and booking
- Financial organization, communication, and related tasks
- Travel arrangements and forecasting
- Housing maintenance, including scheduling repairs and ensuring essentials are available
- Dropping off and picking up children from school or recreational activities
- Event planning, inventory management, and vendor coordination
- Creating and distributing marketing materials
- Special projects and other tasks as needed
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience in an assistant, coordinator, or office management role where deadlines and time management are crucial
- Experience working and communicating with children and elderly individuals
- A love for organization and streamlining processes
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage simultaneous timelines and projects while staying organized
- Quick learner with the capacity to develop necessary skills to tackle novel challenges
- Familiarity with Google Office (Calendar, Drive, Sheets, Docs)
- Basic HTML and graphic design abilities
- Clean driving record and ability to lift up to 40 pounds
In this role, you will gain life skills ranging from homeownership and rental property management to venture capital, event planning, travel arrangement, fundraising, and more. You will have the opportunity to work on various unique and exciting projects, such as planning a wedding/fundraiser, designing a website, coordinating multi-city travel, and organizing office and home remodels.
