Position: AIX System Administrator
Location: Houston, TX 3 days office ( Mandatory (No Exceptions) ) and 2 days remote.
Duration: Longterm
VISA: No Constraints
Rate: $ Open
We work with ( H1b transfers and any EAD)
Communication: Very fluent English
Note: AIX /VIO/PowerHA must-with recent experience
Must have the experience:
- Min of 5-8 years of experience as an AIX System Admin
- AIX
- Linux
- Power HA
- ISD
- Unix Technology and Storage basis technical knowledge is desirable
- Must have knowledge of the latest IBM architectures (P9/P10)
- Proficiency in all aspects of LPAR (Logical Partition) generation and reconfiguration
- Provide support for OS-related issues and assist with RCA (Root Cause Analysis) analysis for OS (Operating System) issues and product related issues
- Perform IBM AIX, and Linux Server system administration, including installation and customization
- Partner with and assist internal technology and business partners to provide RCA, support and solutions on complex problems and configuration
