Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced SAP EWM Functional Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) with hands-on experience in S/4 HANA, at least one full-cycle EWM implementation, and expertise in manufacturing industries, particularly with automotive OEM exposure.
Key Responsibilities:
SAP EWM Implementation and Configuration:
Execute centralized and decentralized warehouse management processes.
Design, configure, and implement solutions for inbound, outbound, kitting, and internal warehouse processes, including VAS, wave management, physical inventory, and posting changes.
Configure Process-Oriented Storage Control (POSC) and Layout-Oriented Storage Control (LOSC).
RF Integration and Customization:
Manage RF integration and RF queue management.
Collaborate with SAP ABAP teams to develop custom EWM RF transactions and other RICEF objects.
Warehouse Operations:
Implement warehouse order creation rules, direct goods receipt, deconsolidation, goods issue processes, put-away, and picking strategies.
Support production staging, batch management, and kitting processes.
EWM Data Migration and Go-Live Support:
Lead data migration and cutover activities during go-live.
Ensure the creation and management of master data, including packaging specifications, warehouse organizational structures, and handling unit settings.
Advanced EWM Features:
Implement labor management, cartonization planning, transportation unit management, slotting, re-arrangement, and yard management.
Configure and modify Post Processing Framework (PPF) in SAP EWM.
Collaboration and Industry Expertise:
Work effectively in manufacturing environments, with a preference for automotive OEM exposure.
Provide AMS support and participate in rollout activities.
Mandatory Skills:
Minimum 10 15 years of experience in SAP implementations, rollouts, and AMS.
At least 3 years of experience in S/4 HANA EWM, including one full-cycle implementation.
Hands-on expertise in EWM configuration and design.
Strong understanding of table structures in EWM.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in manufacturing industries and automotive OEMs.
Proficiency in labor management, cartonization planning, and yard management.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
