What are the responsibilities and job description for the Systems Engineer position at VSG Business Solutions LLC?
onsite 2x / week
Responsibilities :
Provide support for the design implementation and operation of Microsoft Windows Linux VMWare and cloud infrastructure platforms
Provide support for the LAN WAN Firewall and Load Balancing solutions and for the implementation and operation of Microsoft application environments such as Active Directory Azure Exchange and M365
Provide support for the design implementation and operation of the standard infrastructure applications such as backup antivirus security patching monitoring and ITSM tools
Ensure disaster recovery solution is operational maintained and meeting the business needs
Qualifications :
5 years of experience in IT infrastructure delivery design or support role for onpremises and / or cloud infrastructure
Proven experience in and supporting Microsoft Linux or server clusters
Background creating automated environment deployment processes with tools such as Terraform
Experience with core access and identity components such as Active Directory GPOs DNS DHCP and Client
Experience installing and / or supporting VMWare and Cisco Networking Equipment including routers switches and firewalls
Storage LUN creation vSAN stretched clustering storage disk utilization and management
