Regional Accounting Manager Requirements :
- Prepare corporate and ancillary businesses monthly financial statements, review
profit / loss, cash flows, equity roll forwards, depreciation, inventory, cash balance and
balance sheet reconciliations.
Review and prepare account reconciliations of general ledger accounts for appropriate,timely resolution of reconciling items.
Lead annual and monthly corporate and ancillary businesses financial close process toensure timely, accurate financial statements and to ensure that established goals are met.
Lead annual and monthly corporate and ancillary businesses close cycle throughpreparation and draft of bank ACH transactions.
Review corporate and ancillary businesses check runs prepared by Accounts Payablebased on available cash balance and vendor terms and submit to CFO for approval.
Regularly review accounts receivable and work with ancillary business leaders andcommunity Regional Accounting Managers to collect open balances, post appropriate
charges, payments, adjustment, and refunds.
Establish and lead a monthly financial review process with ancillary business leaders.Review and validate accuracy of corporate and ancillary businesses invoices and checkrequests.
Lead preparation of annual operating budgets for ancillary businesses.Lead preparation of annual corporate and ancillary businesses 1099 and 1096 forms.Prepare, review and post journal entries and maintain supporting documentation for alltransactions.
Lead corporate and ancillary business monthly credit card reconciliation and processassociated billbacks.
Assist ancillary businesses with developing business processes and procedures.Prepare details and summary ad hoc analysis as requested.Work directly with internal stakeholders on developing and executing strategic plans toensure corporate and ancillary businesses are meeting and / or exceeding financial
targets.
Represent the Accounting department on special projects for corporate and ancillarybusinesses.
Perform other duties as assigned.SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS :
3-5 years of progressive accounting experienceBS in Accounting or a combination of education and experience.Working knowledge of QuickBooks online.Hands-on, able to work well independently as well as in a team environment, and balancemultiple high-level priorities.
