Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Hose Assembly Technician to join our team! This hands-on role is responsible for assembling, testing, packaging, and labeling hose products according to customer and industry specifications. You’ll operate tools such as crimpers, lathes, forklifts, and measuring instruments, while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and documentation.
Essential Functions
- Assemble hoses by cutting to length, attaching fittings, and using crimpers and other tools
- Perform pressure testing and follow quality control procedures
- Package and label hoses accurately based on specifications
- Operate forklifts to move materials in the shop or for local deliveries
- Deliver hoses for radiographic testing and pick up parts from suppliers as needed
- Follow company safety procedures and training protocols
- Complete work orders and inventory documentation accurately
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience relating to the job duties
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort with tools (Preferred)
- Experience or training in manufacturing process/environment (Preferred)
