Typically has the following skills or abilities:
Doctor of Optometry degree, O.D. including Third Party Administrator (TPA) certificate of licensure
1-3 years of clinical practice experience with current knowledge of Optometric technology and practices; new graduates are encouraged to apply
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong management, leadership, and organizational skills
Strong business aptitude, self-discipline, and ability to deliver outstanding patient service
Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of his/her job duties
Working Conditions
The working environment is generally favorable, lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc.

Skills:
As an Optometrist, you will utilize your strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with patients and provide exceptional eye care services. Your attention to detail and problem-solving skills will be essential in diagnosing and treating various eye conditions. Additionally, your ability to work well in a team environment will ensure that our patients receive the highest level of care. Experience with electronic health records and specialty contact lens fittings is preferred, but not required.
