VSSI Staffing is seeking a new Material Cutter Machine to work collaboratively with a highly talented, cross-functional team to create best-in-class products for our clients! The ideal candidate thrives in an agile environment and has a passion for building high-quality products using the latest manufacturing technologies.
Location : Garland, TX
Shift : 7 : 30 am to 4 pm
Schedule : Monday to Friday OT
Payrate : $17
Skills & Requirements :
- Proven experience operating material-cutting machines in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Familiarity with different types of cutting technologies and techniques.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
- Strong mathematical skills for calculating dimensions, angles, and tolerances.
- Attention to detail and precision to ensure accurate cutting and quality control.
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to handle heavy materials and operate machinery for extended periods.
- Attention to detail and measuring with fractions is needed.
- That is the most important and will train in other duties.
- Enter codes into the machine.
- The machine will cut mats into specs, take mats off the machine, and stack them.
- Prep for shipping.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and practices related to machine operation.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and follow instructions.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and production schedules.
- Set up machines by selecting proper cutting tools, adjusting settings, and positioning materials for cutting.
- Monitor machine operation to ensure accurate cutting and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
- Inspect finished pieces for quality, ensuring they meet dimensional tolerances and visual specifications.
