The firm specializes in representing insurers in complex coverage and recovery actions, focusing on first-party and third-party insurance disputes. Renowned for handling fraud and extra-contractual liability cases, FCOMH serves some of the most respected Fortune 500 insurance underwriters in state and federal courts nationwide.
Role Description :
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Commercial Litigation Attorney at FCOMH. The successful candidate will have at least three (3) years of experience in complex commercial litigation (note : this is not an insurance defense role). The role requires the ability to work both independently and collaboratively on a wide range of litigation tasks, including :
- Conducting legal research.
- Drafting motions and legal memoranda.
- Representing clients in courts and trials.
- Conducting depositions.
- Briefing and arguing appeals.
- Providing legal counsel on complex insurance coverage matters.
Qualifications :
Strong legal research and writing skills.
Top-level academic credentials (generally in the top third of law school class).
Admission to the New Jersey and New York bars (additional jurisdictions are a plus but not required).
