Position Overview :
We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Field Technician to join our team. As a vital member of our maintenance department, you will ensure the optimal performance and functionality of heavy equipment across various job sites.
Responsibilities :
Utilize diagnostic tools and techniques to identify and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
Perform scheduled maintenance, repairs, and component replacements on heavy equipment.
Travel to various job sites to provide on-site repairs and technical support, minimizing equipment downtime.
Maintain detailed records of service activity and prepare accurate reports for management.
Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Interact with operators in the field to understand their needs, explain repair options, and address concerns or questions.
Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
Qualifications :
Strong mechanical aptitude with experience diagnosing and repairing heavy equipment, including engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems.
A willingness to embrace a fast-paced environment with a dedication to excellence.
ASE certification or certification from a recognized training program is preferred.
Ability to work independently in the field and solve technical problems; proven experience in a related role is preferred.
