Responsibilities
Test vehicle systems and components to ensure they are secure and functioning properly.
Diagnose issues by isolating systems or components causing problems.
Perform test drives to verify repairs.
Maintain efficiency and accuracy when diagnosing and repairing vehicles.
Repair or replace worn parts before vehicle damage or breakdown occurs.
Use tools, including power tools, machine tools, and hand tools, for various tasks.

Requirements
Ability to quickly and accurately diagnose problems.
Knowledge of automotive systems.
Effective analytical and communication skills.
Strong skills in reading, computers, and mathematics.
Willingness to learn new technology, repair procedures, and specifications.
Comfort using electronic diagnostic equipment.
Education : High school diploma or GED (technical degree preferred).
Certifications : ASE certifications preferred.
Experience : Minimum of 1 year in a service department.
Physical ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
