About the Role
As a Technical Accounting Senior Manager within the Corporate Accounting team, you will serve as an expert and project lead on U.S. GAAP and SEC technical accounting issues. You will independently research complex transactions, assess their implications, document conclusions, and implement solutions while collaborating with various business and corporate departments.
This role focuses on providing guidance in areas such as contracts, revenue recognition, leases, derivatives, VIE assessments, impairment analysis, acquisitions, divestitures, and other accounting standards. Strong expertise in lease accounting (ASC 842) is highly desirable. You will also mentor and support team members to develop their technical accounting skills.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform in-depth technical accounting research and provide actionable guidance.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to address complex accounting issues.
- Focus on lease accounting and related processes.
- Document technical accounting conclusions and effectively communicate them.
- Train and develop team members within the Technical Accounting group.
- Work proactively with external auditors to ensure timely resolution of technical matters.
- Drive compliance with accounting standards and company values.
