This role requires a blend of technical knowledge and sales expertise, particularly in B2B sales. As an Account Manager, you will collaborate with various departments to ensure client satisfaction and identify new business opportunities that you will help the Sales Team pursue.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of new and existing client accounts, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients through regular communication and follow-ups.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within existing and new accounts.
- Collaborate with the sales team to strategize on market approaches and enhance overall sales performance.
- Utilize Salesforce to track account activity, manage leads, and report on sales performance.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profitability while ensuring client satisfaction.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities.
- Provide support during the sales process, addressing any questions or concerns from clients.
Requirements
- Proven experience in account management or a related field, preferably in B2B sales.
- Strong negotiation skills with a focus on achieving win-win outcomes.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Experience with collaboration sales techniques to drive team success.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM software is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability in business development and identifying new market opportunities.
- B2B sales experience is a plus, enabling effective discussions with clients regarding product specifications and benefits.
