Job Title: Business Analyst

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to play a key role in gathering and managing business, functional, and technical requirements for process transformation initiatives. The BA will work closely with stakeholders to define, document, and test solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and project requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Elicit and document business, stakeholder, functional, and technical requirements.
- Lead stakeholders through process transformation and create future-state process flows.
- Develop critical documentation, including business process flows, technical specifications, and data mapping documents.
- Create test strategies, scenarios, and scripts; assist in testing and tracking results.
- Facilitate requirements traceability and support project teams through implementation.
- Manage stakeholder communication, change management efforts, and status reporting.
- Assist with disaster recovery planning, technology impact assessments, and business impact assessments.
- Utilize tools like Azure DevOps to create epics, features, and user stories.
- Collaborate with the Testing COE and other teams to ensure successful delivery of project objectives.
Required Skills:
- Strong expertise in eliciting and documenting detailed business, functional, and technical requirements.
- Proven experience in enterprise transformation initiatives and Agile/Waterfall methodologies.
- Proficient in requirements specification techniques, including JAD/RAD sessions, use case development, and process flow diagrams.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving expertise.
- Technical knowledge, including data science concepts and gathering data requirements.
- Experience with tools like Azure DevOps and other enterprise applications.
- Utilities industry experience is highly preferred.
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5–10 years of experience as a Business Analyst on technology initiatives.
- Preferred certifications:
- IIBA Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)
- IIBA Entry Certificate in Business Analysis (ECBA)
- IIBA Certification of Competency in Business Analysis (CCBA)
- IIBA Agile Analysis Certification (AAC)
- PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PBA) Certification
