Job Title: RN Emergency Room
Job Location: Chicago, IL
Duration: 13 weeks
Work Schedule: Day/Night (3x12 Hours)
Pay rate: Up to $62/hr. - $65/hr. on w2
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and their families upon arrival to the emergency department, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Accurately collect and input patient information into the electronic health record system.
- Verify insurance information and obtain necessary authorizations for treatment.
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure timely patient processing and care.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient records and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Assist with the preparation of necessary documentation for patient admissions and discharges.
- Provide support to patients by answering questions regarding their visit and directing them to appropriate resources.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as laboratory and sterile processing, to facilitate efficient operations.
Requirement:
- Full Time, 3 shifts per week with every other weekend.
- No Block scheduling accommodated.
- Resource must have 2 years of recent acute care experience in the ED.
- RN IL License
- BLS
