What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Storekeeper 1 position at vTech Solution?

Job Description

ssist the Senior Storekeeper with their responsibilities as they apply to warehouse activities, including but not limited to the following :

Operator forklift, pallet jack, etc.
Organize and inventory warehouse materials.
Prepare materials for outgoing shipment.
Maintain clean work environment.
Assist customers and employees with locating materials.
Assist Sr. Storekeeper / Storekeeper, customers, and employees with loading and unloading of materials.

Job Experience and Education

High School diploma or equivalent is required.

Warehouse related experience and / or background is highly preferred.

Successful completion of Warehouse Test is required.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Ability to follow instructions and translate those instructions into action items.

Computer literacy desirable.

Must be able to interact with various internal customers.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. continuously / repetitively is required.

May be required to travel to other Region Storerooms to assist as needed.

Ability to work overtime and storm duty when necessary.
