The Client is seeking to hire an Expert Level SharePoint Design Architect for its internal and public facing SharePoint implementations. This person will be responsible for SharePoint information architecture of metadata in page design, applying web parts, wireframes, creation of UI elements, and creation of layout templates based on the needs of the various clients’ business units. This contractor should have extensive experience creating out of the box SharePoint 2013 solutions. This contractor should also be familiar with SharePoint Designer, HTML, CSS JavaScript, Angular.JS and jQuery, and using these tools together to manipulate the DOM.
- Defines Information Architecture and Metadata for the most effective data-driven User Experience
- Creates User Experience (UX) standards across multiple SharePoint site collections for both layout and interactivity
- Write maintainable Javascript across multiple (15 ) site collections
- Build interfaces powered by the Search REST API in SharePoint 2013
- Configure sites to use a wide array of custom SharePoint Permissions
- Guide other designers on the team to follow site design standards
- Creation/editing of list and library-driven SharePoint web-part pages, as well as pages containing static HTML content
- Design and creation of interfaces for our clients using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SharePoint
- Creation of libraries and lists within SharePoint, based on established guidelines
- Adding interactivity to pages using jQuery, JavaScript and CSS – all while keeping page load and responsiveness in mind at all times
- Creation and editing of SharePoint Display Templates for search-driven content
- Maintaining site branding and design standards across all pages
- Building site templates with master pages
- Clearly communicating status reports, in verbal and written form
- Collaborating as a dedicated team member and demonstrating the ability to clearly communicate with other team members
Skill Matrix:
- Experience with Angular.JS and jQuery UI, and knowing when to use them versus out of the box web parts
- Experience with modern client-side development and design tools like Gulp/Grunt or Bower
- Front-end design/development experience
- SharePoint Designer or 2013 experience
