Job Overview :
We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer 3 with 7-10 years of heavy industrial or power plant experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have an accredited bachelor's degree in engineering and a strong background in structural steel and concrete design. This role involves providing structural engineering services, field support, and overseeing the design and analysis of complex structural systems.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide structural engineering services and field support for heavy industrial and power plant projects.
- Prepare designs and calculations for structural steel and concrete systems.
- Conduct site walk downs of construction sites to assess project requirements and constraints.
- Develop cost estimates and material takeoffs for project budgeting and procurement.
- Provide schedule and staffing input to ensure project timelines and resource allocation.
- Produce and check structural steel design calculations and drawings for accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinate and manage multiple small to mid-sized, single or multi-discipline projects.
- Perform structural inspections and provide comprehensive written reports.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with plant staff, design engineering teams, and vendors.
