What are the responsibilities and job description for the GEOINT Information Technology SME position at VTG?
Overview:
The Contractor shall support the Government in the following tasks:
Participate in government and contractor sponsored system engineering and technical exchange meetings (TEMs), Independent
Review Teams, design and program management reviews, IT-IA-IM meetings, and other forums and meetings as applicable
Coordinate, track, and assess IT-IA-IM requests (e.g. software, firewall), actions, asset status/issues (in coordination with GEO INT Security), impacts of Chief Information Officer polices to GEOINT assets and mission, GEOINT cloud environment status/issues, and other IT-IA-IM activities as needed. Communicate to assist in resolving IT related issues (e.g. Help Desk tickets) for GEOINT personnel and industry partners
Provide awareness of technical and strategic decisions and directions by other NRO Directorates and Offices that may impact GEOINT programs, plans, and strategies
Coordinate GEOINT responses to and prepare GEOINT Government representative for Enterprise and Community level forums, boards, and working groups (e.g. Engineering Review Board, NRO Risk and Opportunity Management Board, and IT forums). Ensure GEOINT position is coordinated through GEOINT leadership and SPOs
In coordination with the GEOINT Director's Action Group (DAG) and GEOINT SPOs review and develop responses to technical and strategic actions
Coordinate with the GEOINT Front Office and SPOs to develop content for technical and strategic executive-level presentations and documents (e.g. conference presentations, GEOINT fact sheets)
Update, coordinate, and communicate the GEOINT strategic plan as needed.

Responsibilities:
The GEOINT Information Technology SME shall provide support to the GEOINT/EMO, (ACIO), and GEOINT Front Office with subject matter experts (SMEs) to support the GEOINT mission, Information Technology-Information Assurance-Information Management (IT-IA-IM) policies and processes, and the Intelligence Community IT Enterprise (IC ITE). The support shall be able to provide segment, enterprise, and intelligence community level knowledge to assist with technical and strategic integration across the GEOINT offices and to assist with outreach and awareness

As a team, Engineering and GEOINT Strategy personnel must combine to have all of the following qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience working with Intelligence Community and/or DOD programs.
- Demonstrated experience in NRO programs.
- Demonstrated knowledge of TIER.
- Demonstrated experience in managing IT-IA-IM/COMM ticket requests and policy activities
- Demonstrated experience interacting with senior executives to include writing correspondence or white papers, developing executive briefings, and participating in executive level meetings.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of Confluence.
Desired personnel qualifications
The desired qualifications for ENGINEERING AND GEOINT STRATEGY SME personnel are:
- Demonstrated experience or knowledge of National Technical Means GEO INT systems, including ground systems and operations.
- Ideal for candidate to have a Cyber Security Background and/or Security
