Overview
We are seeking a Mid-level Systems Administrator to provide a variety of technical and administrative network systems support to the company’s IT Operations for assigned locations to include but not limited to : Microsoft Office 365 Administration, Intune Administration, Desktop / laptop Support, analyzing network needs; integration, and installation; evaluating network hardware and software requirements and capabilities and making recommendations; and performing equipment and equipment and software upgrades. This role is required to be onsite for a minimum of 4 days per week.The role will be based out of one of our corporate offices, including Chantilly, VA; Virginia Beach, VA; California, MD; Washington, DC; Beavercreek, OH; or San Diego, CA.
What will you do?
- Provide tier 1 and tier 2 end user support for all hardware and software issues.
- Provide onsite and remote support.
- Manage and resolve help desk tickets.
- Windows 11 Imaging.
- Office 365 administration, with an emphasis on SharePoint Online and Teams administration
- Onboarding new hires and offboarding employees.
- Issue, manage, and install certifications to include, email certifications and CAC card readers.
- Installs and maintains local area network hardware and software including servers, peripherals, network nodes, terminals, and wiring.
- Evaluates local area network hardware and software requirements and capabilities and makes recommendations; handles related site-specific needs as required.
- Coordinates installation of hardware and software by others; coordinates third-party maintenance for network hardware, software, and telecommunications services.
- Provides support to and trains users in local area network administration and usage of company email, conference bridge, cell phone setup, and standard PC utilization.
- Monitors and maintains network stability.
- Maintains a current asset inventory and asset assignment information.
- On-site point of contact.
