What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bilingual Human Resources Assistant position at VTI Architectural Products Inc?
Provide excellent customer service to all team members and applicants, including explaining company policies, benefits, and procedures
Perform administrative work, including entering, formatting, and printing information; organizing work; answering the phone; relaying messages; maintaining equipment and supplies; maintaining files; and sorting mail for the HR Department
Assist with the hiring process, including greeting walk-in applicants, administering pre-employment tests, coordinating interviews, assisting in new hire orientation and training, etc.
Create and maintain accurate electronic and personnel files for Operations (hourly and salaried) employees
Responsible for sending plant-wide communications
Enter new hire information into HRIS and all other associated tasks with the change
Maintain team member confidence and protect operations by maintaining a high level of confidentiality
Provide general support with human resources functions and team members
Plan, coordinate, and lead employee relations and engagement activities, and create flyers for such activities
Order and deliver WIN awards for Operations; assist with service award program
Participate and assist in organizing special projects as assigned
Complete reports as requested, such as hourly and salaried openings reports, LOA report, etc.
Complete verification of employment requests
Maintain digital physical signage, mobile alerts, and applicable HUB pages
Coordinate and administer uniform program for production team members
Translate documents and interpret when necessary
