What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cost Estimator in Manufacturing position at Vtron Electronics Corp?
V-Tron Electronics Corporation is looking for a Cost Estimator to join our team in our Attleboro location. The Cost Estimator is a key member of the Quoting department who will establish standard routings and costed parts list associated with customer provided documentation.
The ideal candidate will be curious, have a strong attention to detail and passion for customer success.
Responsibilities :
Establish material costs to prescribe customer parameters by soliciting bids from suppliers. Build standard parts list in V-Tron Electronics parts list database. Documents costs in parts master database. Develop standard routings by identifying required operations on customer blueprints in the most efficient way possible.
Experience Requirements :
- High School graduate or GED equivalent.
- Minimum 2-years assembly, supervisory or management experience in manufacture of wire harnesses / cable assembly operations.
Candidates who do not meet these requirements but show a strong aptitude for success may be considered by V-Tron Electronics management.
