What are the responsibilities and job description for the Environmental Health and Safety Intern - Student Employment Opportunity (Work Study Eligibility Required) position at VTSU?
Assist EHS Compliance Officer with clerical and chemical storage tasks. Specific duties include sorting and filing, performing inventories, creating spreadsheets, etc. Student worker will be expected to participate in required EH&S training provided by the EH&S Compliance Officer prior to working in any laboratories or chemical storage areas, or any tasks involving hazardous chemicals.
Minimum Qualifications: interest in environmental health and safety and/or chemistry
