Vermont State University is seeking a part-time faculty member for Social Work who will develop and teach a new social work course- "Spanish in the Human Services".
This course will meet in the evenings to support the needs of non-traditional students.
Job Responsibilities are the following:
- Work with program director to develop the syllabus
- Teach course in-person weekly on the Castleton campus
- Available to meet with students outside of class time as needed
- Use CANVAS to communicate with students, post assignments, grades, supplemental materials
Minimum Qualifications:
- Masters in related field
- Experience with teaching/presenting
- The successful candidate must be able to read, write, and speak Spanish
- Sufficient computer literacy to use course management software, email,
wtc.
