The School of Nursing and Health Sciences at Vermont State University invites applications for a part-time Professor in the Department of Nursing, Northeast Region (Lyndon, Newport, Johnson). Responsibilities include teaching courses and clinical for pre-licensure nursing students in the PN program in a progressive 1 1 nursing program. Some courses are offered through a distance-education delivery modality. Some regional travel may be required. The candidate will be expected to serve the college community by participating in committees and student advising. The targeted start date for this position will be for the Fall 2024 term.
Teaching load will average nine credit hours or the equivalent.

Minimum Qualifications:
Qualified candidates must possess a Master’s degree in Nursing and have previous clinical experience in nursing. Teaching experience in secondary school or college is a plus. An active unencumbered Vermont RN licensure or eligibility for an unencumbered Vermont license required. A valid driver's license is required.
Salary:
Based on qualifications and experience as defined by VSC-VSCPTF Bargaining Unit Agreement.
