Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP FI Consultant to join IBM s SAP Center of Excellence. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in SAP Finance (FI) modules with in-depth knowledge of Business Partner (BP) configuration and testing design processes. You will work closely with business stakeholders, functional and technical teams to deliver robust financial solutions, ensuring seamless integration with S/4HANA and associated modules.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and customize SAP FI modules including GL, AP, AR, AA, and Bank Accounting.
- Lead and manage Business Partner (BP) configuration for both customers and vendors, ensuring compliance with SAP S/4HANA data model.
- Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for SAP FI functionalities, integration points, and end-to-end business processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
- Participate in SAP implementation, rollout, upgrade, and support projects.
- Ensure data integrity and alignment with master data governance policies.
- Support defect resolution during SIT, UAT, and go-live support phases.
- Provide knowledge transfer and training to end-users and support teams.
Required Skills
- Minimum 6 years of experience in SAP FI with at least 2 full lifecycle implementations.
- Strong hands-on experience with BP configuration in S/4HANA.
- Proficient in testing design, including creation of test scenarios, scripts, and execution strategies.
- Knowledge of integration with SD, MM, and CO
- Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology.
- Experience working with tools like HP ALM, Jira, Solution Manager for testing and documentation.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- IBM SAP certifications are a plus.
- Prior consulting experience with a global SAP services provider.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum project environments.
- Exposure to Fiori apps and S/4HANA migration tools.
