Vulcan Fire accepts applications for our Golden, Colorado office. Positions in our company work assigned hours, Monday through Friday. Technical position have rotations in our on-call schedule.
Position Summary:
Ideal candidates will have solid experience in one of our departments; installation, service, test & inspect, design, or administration. Strong technical skills alongside strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a desire to complete assignments, and a capacity for continual learning. A full-time performance-based position requiring the ability to meet daily, weekly, and monthly production goals in a fast-paced low-voltage company.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Review and process all tasks as assigned.
- Takes ownership of issues and ensures problems are resolved promptly and professionally.
- Maintains a working knowledge of all company services pertaining to low voltage installation, maintenance, design processes, and procedures.
- Responds to inquiries from external and internal customers by phone and email.
- Initiates apt verbal and written communication for ultimate service and installation.
- Updates and maintains an accurate account of all activity.
- Utilize various online systems for all facets of the position.
- Collaborate with others in the office and the field to complete projects.
Education & Required Skills:
- Accurate typing skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Must have excellent attendance
- Must be computer savvy and have the ability to multi-task
- Demonstrates sound logic
- Works well under pressure
- Works in compliance with Federal and State codes
- NICET Certification
- Denver Journeyman and various other licenses a bonus
- Pass a 10-panel drug test
- Pass a criminal background check
