Position Overview: As a Chain Hooker Support daily production needs of overhead crane operation and the metal pouring crew, rigging of lifting devices and daily inspection of all lifting chains and slings.

SHIFT: 1st Shift
PAY: $23.68

Purpose Statement:
Support daily production needs of overhead crane operation and the metal pouring crew, rigging of lifting devices and daily inspection of all lifting chains and slings.

Primary Responsibilities & Accountabilities

• Following production schedule to align with molds being produced
• Following established process instructions
• Setting up patterns, rigging equipment and flasks,
• Rigging required lifts according to production schedule
• Alert lead of any maintenance needs
• Recommend process improvements
• Maintain daily housekeeping in the work area other duties as assigned

Key Selection Criteria

• High School Diploma/GED
• Excellent hand eye coordination
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Ability to work with others
