VulcanForms Inc. seeks a Senior Network Administrator for our Devens, MA and Newburyport, MA locations.
Job Purpose
The Sr. Network Administrator will be responsible for enterprise-wide network maintenance, high availability, security, performance, design/upgrades, and site-to-site connectivity of our corporate network infrastructure. Candidate must be proficient with Palo Alto Networks firewalls in HA mode and Aruba switches in VSF and VSX Spine/Leaf configurations. The candidate will be responsible for designing and improving our current network infrastructure in both Devens and Newburyport (and future growth). The candidate will split their time between both locations.
Key Accountabilities
- Enterprise-wide network administration & maintenance with high availability requirements
- Maintain HA Palo Alto Firewalls, Aruba switches in VSF and VSX Spine/Leaf configurations
- Work with IT team on network upgrades and design with minimal impact on uptime
- Network security – ethernet and WiFi encryption with RADIUS
- Continuous network threat monitoring and mitigation
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years advanced network administration
- Enterprise-wide network design and hands-on implementation experience
- Proficiency with Cisco switches
- Multi-functional with willingness to assist with helpdesk requests
- Experience with network connectivity to hyperconverged private cloud infrastructure (Nutanix)
- Knowledgeable with Hyper-V and VMWare
- Knowledgeable with Meraki and Ubiquiti wireless technologies
Preferred Qualifications
- Border Gateway Protocol and OSPF
- General knowledge of data center infrastructure and protocol
- Familiarity with ITAR/EAR/DFARs
- Familiarity with SDWAN
