Position Title: Production Supervisor
Openings - one on Gold shift
Core schedule Gold shift: (Nights Monday to Friday 6:45 pm - 4 am)
Must be able to work additional hours and overtime. Mandatory overtime varies per day. Saturdays and Sundays may be required to work when needed.

POSITION SUMMARY
Vuteq is an automotive supplier for a major automotive manufacturer located in the Princeton, IN area. We are looking for a strong team player with project management and/or new programs experience, preferably in the automotive industry. Candidates should possess strong communication skills, computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and AutoCAD.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and safely meet production goals of the Princeton, Indiana plant. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Oversee and maintain production floor.
- Schedule Team Member assignments each day.
- Ensure Team Members are trained properly.
- Track team Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for safety, quality, productivity.
- Countermeasure KPIs for quality defects, performance, safety, productivity issues.
- Implement Kaizens in assigned area(s) and promote continuous improvement (including new ideas, projects, and practices).
- Interprets company policies, procedures, and practices to workers.
- Interprets customer specifications to ensure products being produced meets those specifications.
- Monitor safety and enforce safety protocol in assigned area.
- Oversee Team Leader performance.
- Monitor training schedules/proficiency charts for daily processes and unusual conditions and ensure due dates are met.
- Oversee TPM/PM (daily checks) on equipment.
- Approve timekeeping records for assigned group(s)
- Approve/deny time off/PTO and follow outlined process.
- Administer Corrective Action and coaching of Team Members
- Act as liaison between Vuteq and customers
- Report supplier part problems to Quality and help analyze to resolve problems or assist in solving problems.
- Review defects at customer site if needed.
- Oversee and maintain 5S of assigned area(s) to ensure the work environment is clean, safe, and organized.
- Address Team Member concerns and participate in Team Member investigations.
- Evaluate processes for improvement ideas.
- Must communicate to management formally or informally concerns related to production and Team Members.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
- Supervisory experience required.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Associate’s Degree preferred or equivalent experience (1 – 2 years)
