**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facility/Kaizen Maintenance Technician to join our team. This person will be involved in all aspects of building upkeep, maintenance and repairs, ensuring that facilities meet safety, health and operational standards while implementing Kaizen Principles.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background implementing Kaizen principles for maintenancefocuses on continuous improvement and proactive maintenance to reduce downtime and increase equipment reliability, ultimately boosting efficiency and profitability.
**Responsibilities: **
-Conducting routine inspections of systems and equipment, diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural issues, coordinating maintenance schedules, and liaising with external contractors or vendors as needed.
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks on electrical and mechanical systems.
-Inspecting buildings, machinery, and systems regularly for signs of damage or wear
-Performing general maintenance tasks including painting, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical repair
-Installing and maintaining equipment and appliances
-Reading and understanding blueprints and schematics to troubleshoot and repair systems
- Troubleshoot and repair complex issues with industrial equipment, including CNC machines and logic controllers.
- Conduct electrical tests.
- Utilize schematics and diagrams to diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues.
-Handling basic repairs and maintenance such as fixing leaky pipes, replacing faulty switches, etc.
-Performing preventive maintenance to avoid potential breakdowns and malfunctions
-Ordering supplies and equipment needed for repairs and maintenance
-Documenting all inspections, maintenance, and repair work
-Adhering to safety regulations and standards, ensuring compliance with local and federal guidelines
-Responding promptly to emergency situations or breakdowns
**Skills:**
-Proven experience as a Facilities Maintenance Technician or similar role.
-Experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and other maintenance tasks.
-Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and other systems.
-Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods.
-Strong physical ability and stamina.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $27.78 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
