Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Injection SubTeam Leader to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in injection mold and manufacturing processes, with a focus on leading a team to achieve operational excellence. This role requires a hands-on approach to problem-solving and the ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives within the mold department.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to manufacturing processes.
- Operate and maintain precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers for quality assurance.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to enhance productivity and reduce waste
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize plastics extrusion processes and improve product performance.
- Conduct regular training sessions for team members on best practices in machining and equipment operation.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in injection molding or a related field, with strong knowledge of machining processes.
- Familiarity with press brake machines, plastics extrusion techniques, CNC machinery, lathe operations, and precision measuring instruments.
- Experience with lean manufacturing methodologies is highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership capabilities with a focus on team development and performance management.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with an emphasis on continuous improvement.
