Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Injection Supervisor/Specialist. This person will oversee the injection molding process, ensuring high-quality production and efficient manufacturing operations. They will have mechanical knowledge and supervisory experience to lead a team of Mold/Process Technicians while maintaining safety and quality standards. Their expertise in plastics injection molding, along with skills in quality inspection and CNC machinery, will be essential in driving continuous improvement. Strong leadership and communication skills are vital as you collaborate with various departments to achieve organizational goals and foster a productive work environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise and coordinate the injection molding process to ensure efficient production.
- Conduct quality inspections to maintain product standards and compliance.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing processes.
- Train and mentor team members on best practices in plastics injection molding.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on production goals.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and experience in manufacturing processes, particularly plastics injection molding.
- Proven supervisory experience with a focus on quality inspection and continuous improvement.
- Skilled in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a commitment to fostering a collaborative work environment.
