We are seeking a skilled and dedicated General Maintenance professional to join our team. Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of equipment and facilities to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems, including logic controllers and electrical components.
- Fabricate parts and components as needed to support maintenance operations.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and functionality.
- Supervise maintenance staff during projects, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and inventory management.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
- Use tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical testing and diagnostics.
- Perform welding tasks when required to repair or fabricate equipment.
Qualifications
- Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in general maintenance tasks.
- Familiarity with logic controllers and their applications in maintenance settings.
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings effectively.
- Experience supervising maintenance teams or projects is preferred.
- Proficient in using CMMS for tracking maintenance activities.
- Strong skills in maintaining electrical systems, including troubleshooting techniques.
- Welding experience is a plus, with the ability to fabricate parts as necessary.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate effectively with team members.
